On Nov. 13, Overlooked in Appalachia will come together to pack gift boxes for children across the globe. Our current goal is 100 shoeboxes and our contributors kindly ask the public to consider donating items or a monetary amount to this cause.
Children across the globe are met with circumstances that no child should live in, and we have the opportunity to be a beacon of hope. These shoeboxes are likely the first gift the child has gotten, so sending as many as possible is exactly what we want to do.
