Wahaca Mexican Kitchen is a local Mexican restaurant in the heart of Johnson City.
Owner Alvaro Guzman and his business partner opened their doors in October of 2023. They pride themselves on bringing the freshest ingredients and a “taste of Mexico” to the Tri-Cities.
Wahaca’s goal is to create meticulously crafted meals to transport your taste buds straight to Mexico.
Since their opening in the fall of 2023, Wahaca has continued to provide fresh traditional dishes to Johnson City.
Located in the Hamilton Place shopping center near Planet Fitness, it is a short 11-minute drive from ETSU’s Campus. Their menu includes over 15 kinds of burritos, tacos and many more traditional dishes.
They are open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m. - 10pm and Sunday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
