Overlooked in Appalachia was born out of a desire to cover the issues that face our community and region, specifically the Appalachian Highlands, The Blue Ridge Mountains and Greater Appalachia. We are students and community members going in-depth into the issues in our community.

The ETSU Department of Media and Communication supports this publication.
