Going Deeper Into National, International, and Overlooked Issues in Appalachia

Overlooked in Appalachia was born in Johnson City, Tennessee with a desire to cover the issues that face our community and region, specifically the Appalachian Highlands, The Blue Ridge Mountains and Greater Appalachia. We are students and community members going in-depth into the issues within our community. This can range from covering national and international issues to covering overlooked topics and applying it to the Appalachian region.

The East Tennessee State University Department of Media and Communication and the ETSU Sustainability Fund support this publication.
